The treatment is comfortable since lidocaine is in the Volbella and the needle is tiny, allowing for greater precision. Because Volbella absorbs less water than other fillers, swelling is minimal, which is amazing since lips almost always swell after being injected with fillers. Three days before your appointment avoid blood-thinning things like fish oil, vitamin E, red wine, aspirin and ibuprofen to minimize chance of bruising.
